The fourth annual St Lou Fringe Fest, the premiere multi-day independent performing arts event in St. Louis, will take place this year June 17 – 27. As a part of St Lou Fringe’s commitment to placing a spotlight on St. Louis culture and artists year-round, St Lou Fringe programming also extends beyond their ten-day festival.
On June 2nd, St Lou Fringe revives its popular signature event, “ACT YOUR PANTS OFF.” More than just a showcase of top St. Louis talent, “ACT YOUR PANTS OFF” results in the actual removal of clothing by both actors and audience members. The show takes place June 2 at 7 pm at Off Broadway, 3509 Lemp Avenue, in the historic Cherokee Lemp district.
During the three-round performance, all nine actors will compete in a series of acting challenges for tips from the audience. At the end of each round, the top three most-tipped actors will be announced, reclaim the stage, and strip an article of clothing. The tips will benefit the festival. As for the audience? They tend to have such a good time that it impresses the pants off of them.
